Land Surveyor Assistant (Job Opening)
Full Time Position & Benefits. Experience preferred but not required. Survey assistants help conduct land surveys by transporting, assembling, and dismantling surveying devices, setting out building work, and staking out boundary lines under guidance. They assist surveyors in measuring angles, distances, and elevations using tapes or other tools, and record measurements manually or in a digital data recorder. Surveyor assistants usually work directly under field surveyors and travel to job sites as part of a two-person team. Work is conducted outdoors in all types of weather and can involve significant walking, carrying, clearing, and digging. It is a physically active outdoor position. Driver’s License required.
